Dempsey Wood received a Merit Award in Category 2 Section (projects $500,000 to $5 million) for this $3.0m project to widen Tiverton Road.

North Shore City Council, Dempsey Wood and Isthmus Group received a Highly Commended in the Roading Excellence Awards 2008 for this $3.5m project. A collaborative effort, this award was in recognition of the planning, design and construction to upgrade the urban space between Browns Bay mainstreet and the beach reserve.
