Dempsey Wood became the preferred contractor for the final five stages of this seven-stage subdivision development. It was made up of approximately 200 lots of medium density development (600m2 sites) in Sturges Road, Henderson, Auckland.

This project presented a significant challenge because the ground had a thin surface of clay underlaid with peat, and therefore high shrinkage levels. Because of this, Dempsey Wood used specific earthwork equipment to minimise vibration levels transmitting through to adjacent houses.
Dempsey Wood was later contracted to complete the siteworks and concrete floor slabs for the buildings, carparks and footpaths at the school next to the Braeburn Subdivision.
