Kumeu Floodway

Environmental management was a core component of Dempsey Wood's successful delivery of this project, which entailed stream rehabilitation combined with the excavation of a 300m two-level floodway from SH16 downstream along the Kumeu River.

Key aspects of the scope of works included bulk earthworks, excavation and reinforcement works, stormwater drainage, and installation of a temporary bridge across Kumeu River.
