Sportsfields & Remediation Works Projects

Dempsey Wood offers the full suite of civil works capabilities for the development, enhancement upgrades and remedial works of sportsfields and their associated facilities.  Projects include:

The creation of two new sportsfields that incorporated site clearance, earthworks, laser-levelling, geotextile fabric layers, subsoil drains and topsoil stripping, stockpiling, sampling and testing, placing and compacting, fertilising and sowing.

Papatoetoe Recreation Grounds Sportsfields Development

The rehabilitation of Rugby Field No. 2 and Rugby Field No. 3 that included site clearance, bulk earthworks, topsoil spreading, levelling, compacting and sowing, relocation of lighting poles, parks furniture (seating), construction of a new "tiger turf" footpath link and V-shaped grass swale, footpaths and drainage.

Te Puru Recreational Sportsfields

2ha of full remedial works including laser-levelling, topsoiling and grassing rehabiliation as well as construction of a stormwater quality pond and culvert drainage installation.

Bell Park Sportsfield

Creation of two sportsfields incorporating earthworks, laser-levelling, topsoiling and grassing.

Centre Park, Mangere

20,000m³ importation of fill and 3ha of sportsfields, including laser levelling, topsoiling and grassing.

Rongomai Reserve

60,000m³ bulk earthworks and 4ha of playing fields including laser levelling, topsoiling and grassing.

Albany Junior High School

4,000m² sealed tennis/netball courts and creation of playing fields, including access paths, topsoiling, levelling and grassing.

Mountford Park, Manurewa

40,000m³ bulk earthworks, installation of drainage, carpark construction and stream realignment.

Norana Park, Favona

5ha of full remedial works including laser-levelling, topsoiling and grassing rehabilitation works.
