Bayside Reserve Upgrade

Opened to the public in 2009, this IPENZ award-winning project achieved its aim of enhancing water quality at the nearby beach, creating less flooding and erosion, and created a naturalised stream and floating wetlands.

Key aspects of the scope of works included excavations, instream works, landscaping and construction of bridges, walkways and a jetty.
