Tiverton/Wolverton Route Improvements – Stage 1
Part of the strategic road network for the SH20 extension, this award-winning project entailed widening the existing carriageway on a Level 2 arterial route in Blockhouse Bay and constructing concrete and timber retaining walls in an existing service lane.
Other elements of the scope of works included pavements and surfacing, services works, kerb, channel and foothpaths, drainage and the planting of 7,500 native plants.

This project came in on time and costs including $400k of additional works. The Principal and I were very happy with the outcome of the work and the innovation applied by this contractor to save money. This contractor claims all variations and fair claims work when variations are incurred.
